Stretchers and tapers are placed inside the ear in order to increase the gauge of an ear piercing. They can be made from a number of different materials but are most commonly found in acrylic or steel. Stretchers and tapers also vary in style from the commonly used straight acrylic stretchers to the more stylish steel and acrylic claws or the buffalo horn. Depending on the size or style of the stretcher or taper, an O-ring may be necessary to keep the piece in place. All of our tapers and stretchers include O-rings so you won’t need to worry about them falling out.
